Yes! The strategy I share with you in the course will work if whichever retailer you are selling your books on; Amazon, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, Google Play, Apple Books, etc.

The only caveat I will mention here, is that tracking the sales from your Facebook Ads on retailers other than Amazon becomes challenging.

With Amazon, we can track book sales and page reads with a free tool called 'Amazon Attribution'.

But the other retailers do not have a tracking tool such as Amazon Attribution, so you won't know precisely which Ads are generating sales.

The strategy I share with you in the course will give you a good idea of which Ads are generating sales, but it's not as clear cut as when using Amazon Attribution to track your sales on Amazon.

But the strategy will sell books on retailers other than Amazon, that's for sure.

This is a fantastic question and one that I am asked a lot. 

If your goal is profit, right out of the gate, then advertising with one book isn’t going to be right for you at this stage, because it’s just too expensive without readthrough to other books (unless you can get into the Top 100 of Amazon, in which case, you’ll be very profitable!).

Facebook Ads are a cheaper form of traffic than Amazon Ads for most authors, but profit will still be hard to achieve; you’ll most likely be looking at breakeven, at best.

On the other hand, if your goal is to learn Facebook Ads, get comfortable and confident launching Ads, optimizing Ads, etc, then yes, this course will be a great investment for you; just don’t go into this expecting to be profitable until you have more books out.

Also, the course will be beneficial to you if you are looking to build a reader base in preparation for the release of your future books; but again, don’t expect to be profitable at this stage.

Yes, you’ll generate sales, but your goals and expectations going into advertising at this stage aren’t to make a profit; it’s to learn the Facebook Ads platform, build a reader base, and build your email list perhaps, all in preparation for your future launches so you can hit the ground running.

Only you truly know what your goals are at this stage. If you have some surplus cash to spend on Ads that you can sustain until your next book is released, even if it’s just $10 per day (which is the absolute minimum I'd recommend), then it could definitely be worthwhile; but as I keep reiterating, don’t expect to be profitable with just the one book.

I’m not saying it’s not possible to be profitable (my philosophy is to question everything), but it’s just going to be very difficult to make a profit with one book.

The absolute minimum spend I would recommend is $5 per day, which adds up to around $300 per month. If you can though, I would strongly suggest spending at least $10-$20 per day, as this will get you data, results, sales and page reads much quicker than a lowe ad spend.

The beauty of the system I share in this course, however, works whether you're spending $5 per day, $100 per day, or more.

I won't promise you the impossible; it takes time for Facebook Ads to start selling books.

It can happen on the first day of a new campaign going live. Other times, it can take a couple of days, or even a couple of weeks to get some traction. 

And even if you start seeing a trickle of sales coming in, scaling up isn't an overnight thing. It takes a few weeks to gather data, discover what's working, cut what isn't working, etc.

There are also a lot of variables that come into play here, such as your:

• Genre/Category
• Budget
• Targeting
• Sales Rank
• Reviews/Ratings
• Book Description
• Book Cover

At the end of the day, what you have to remember is that your book sells your book. 

The Facebook Ads are there to drive traffic, but your book is what will sell your book. Conversions (i.e. sales) happen on your book product page, not on the Ads (although the Ads play a big role).
