What's the difference between Self-Study and Live?

Self-Study gives you the full self-paced video curriculum and AuthorOS. Live adds monthly 60–90 minute calls with me and the Author1K community, where you bring your questions, challenges and obstacles and leave with a plan. Same program, different level of access to me.

How much time do I need to commit to Author1K?

Less than you might think.

The curriculum is self-paced and broken into short, focused lessons. Most members spend 2–3 hours per week working through the material and applying it to their books. The monthly Accelerator Call is 60-90 minutes.

The point of Author1K isn't to bury you in content. It's to give you the right thing to work on next, so the time you do have gets spent on what actually moves the needle.

If you can find 3 hours a week, you can build this. If you can find more, you'll build it faster.

I only have one book. Is Author1K still for me?

Yes - as long as your book is published or coming very soon. Module 1 will help you make sure your foundation is solid before you spend money on ads. That's actually where most authors go wrong.

But there are also authors who can generate $1,000's/month in royalties from one book. So it's very possible.

What genres does Author1K work for?

The principles work for any genre - fiction or non-fiction. Exclusive to Amazon (Kindle Unlimited) or Wide (published on multiple retailers).

The targeting differs, which is why Module 4 helps you pick the right platform for your specific genre. I've had success stories from romance, thriller, fantasy, self-help, memoir, and more. 

Of course, there are nuances with all genres and sub-genres, fiction and non-fiction, but the same fundamental principles apply across all books. 

How much budget do I need for running ads?

You can start with as little as $5-10/day. The key is testing smart, not spending big.

Module 3 covers how to track your numbers so you know exactly what's working before you scale up.

And Module 4 helps you decide which ad platform is right for you.

And modules 5, 6 and 7 each cover one ad platform in detail (Facebook Ads, Amazon Ads and BookBub Ads), top to bottom.

So you can be sure you're getting the full training you need to run profitable ads on your platform of choice.

And if, in 6 months time, you decide it's time to run ads on a second platform, you'll have the training there ready and waiting for you for that ad platform.
 

What if I miss a Live Call?

Every Accelerator Call is recorded, and the replay is available inside your Author1K dashboard within 24 hours of the call finishing. You can watch the replay at 6am, on your commute, or whenever fits your schedule.

You can also submit your question in advance. So even if you can't make it live, I can still answer your question on the call — and you get the answer when you watch the replay.
