This Might Not Be For You (But It Could Be)

"If you're selling to everyone, you're selling to no one."

This quote is as much true with books, as it is with courses such as The Direct Sales Blueprint For Authors course.

So if you've been on the fence about direct sales, and whether it's a good fit for you at this moment in time, what I thought I'd share with you today is who this direct sales course is for, and also, who it isn't for.

Let's begin with who this course isn't for:

– Authors who aren't prepared to get their hands dirty building a store from scratch (though there are services who can do this for you, for a price)

– Authors who don't want to play the long game

– Authors who won't take action on what I teach and share in the course

– Authors who are too focused on tools and tech, instead of the overarching strategy of running a direct sales store (though I do cover tools and tech inside the course)

– Authors with one fiction book (one non-fiction book can work with direct sales if you have a strong back-end sales system in place to sell products and/or services)

– Authors who don't have at least $30 per month to invest into a Shopify Store

– Authors who don't have at least $20 per day to invest in advertising

So, with that said, who is this course for...

– Authors with at least three fiction books (ideally a series, or multiple stand-alone books you could sell as a bundle)

– Authors who want to have a deeper connection with their readers

– Authors who want more creative control over the look and feel of their author brand

– Authors who care about the customer journey and customer experience

– Authors who want ultimate control over the pricing of their books

– Author who want to earn more from every sale (up to 95%)

– Authors who are looking to add another revenue stream to their business and diversify their income

– Authors who are committed and playing the long game

There will be work involved in building and maintaining a direct sales store, and I'm not going to shy away from saying that.

It will take work.

This course will not turn you into an overnight gazillionaire.

It's not a get-rich-quick scheme.

It's not a magic bullet.

But... if you want to build a direct sales store that can match, or even exceed the royalties you're currently earning as an author from retailers, this course can help you achieve that.

It will help you avoid ALL the mistakes Lori and I have made ourselves getting her direct sales store to the level it's at today.

All of this is providing of course, that you implement and take action on what I share with you.

Action creates more action. Inaction creates more inaction.

Why am I telling you all of this?

It comes down to a very simple answer... I want to help authors.

But not just any authors... the right authors.

If direct sales isn't a good fit for you now, I'd rather you know that upfront, before investing into this course.

It may be a better fit for you in 6, 12, 18 months time, and if so, great, at least you know that now isn't the right time to invest in a course that will distract from what your goals are right now.
