01 / The old advice
"Just write the next book" stopped working.
For years, it's been the answer to everything. Slow month? Write another book. Ads not converting? Write another book. Nobody finishing book two? Write another book.
It worked when the shelves were empty. They're not empty now. A bigger catalog of books nobody can find is simply more invisible books, and writing faster is the most expensive way to fix a problem that was never about the writing.
You don't need more books. You need the books you have, and every book you write from here on out, to reach the readers who want them.
Trap 01
Buried in the checklist
A 47-step launch plan, a tracker with tabs you'll never fill in, and a board that makes you feel productive on the days you sell nothing.
Trap 02
Spread too thin
TikTok, Threads, a newsletter swap every week, three ad platforms at once. Busy in nine places. Profitable in none.
Trap 03
Waiting to be found
Hoping the algorithm notices eventually, if the writing is good enough and you're patient enough. It rarely does on its own.
02 / What this is for
Stop chasing good months. Start repeating them.
Some authors are here to stop losing money. Some want their first $1,000 month. Some are at $2,000 and chasing $5,000. Some are past $10,000 and want it to hold without them watching their business every day. The rung is different every time. The climb is identical.
01 / First
Predictable
The month that repeats
Not a spike after a promo, then silence. A number that turns up again because a system produced it rather than luck did.
02 / Then
Compounding
Every book worth more than the last
New releases land on an engine that's already running, so they earn from day one instead of starting from nothing.
03 / The point
Yours
Full time, on your terms
Writing pays the bills and builds a life, the schedule belongs to you, and the next book gets written because you want to write it.
Nobody honest can promise you a figure. What's on offer is the system that makes those months possible, and someone who'll tell you straight when your books aren't ready for it yet.
03 / The opportunity
The Royalty Engine
Running ads for my wife's catalog every single day, and coaching authors one to one for years, has meant seeing inside author businesses of every shape and size. Fiction and non-fiction. Debut and forty titles deep. Tiny budgets and huge ones. All of it has collapsed into a single framework, and I call it "The Royalty Engine".
Four systems that turn a stranger into a reader who buys everything you publish. The more it spins, the more it compounds, and the less any single launch has to carry.
Stranger → Reader → Book one → The whole catalog → Buys everything you publish
Each system feeds the next. Skip one and the whole thing leaks, which is why most authors who advertise are paying to fill a bucket full of holes.
01
Connect
Turn browsers into buyers.
Wire the path a reader already walks. Cover, subtitle, blurb, A+ content, pricing, categories, keywords, back matter, series pages, reader magnet, welcome sequence.
A romance author fixes a cover that signals the wrong heat level. A productivity author fixes a subtitle that names no outcome.
02
Choose
Focus on the one book that pays you back.
Pick the one book worth advertising. Not your favorite, not the newest. The entry point with the strongest pull-through, chosen with a decision framework instead of a hunch.
Including budget allocation when you've got several series, or several standalones.
03
Feed
Turn money into readers, on purpose.
One ad platform. One book. One country. Learn to read a week of data without panicking, know the thresholds for turning an ad off, and know what scaling actually looks like.
Facebook, Amazon or BookBub Ads, and how to tell which one suits your book, your readers, and you.
04
Compound
Make every release land on a machine that already works.
Launches, promos, backlist refreshes, box sets, and the cross-sell between books you've already published.
Including the retailer-driven route back to readers who never joined your email list.
04 / The path
The step-by-step path to a catalog that sells.
Same six steps for everyone, in the same order, whether you're on book one or book forty. What changes is how fast you move through them and where you already are.
01
Catalog Audit
Work out what you already own, what it's worth, and which part of it has been costing you readers without you realizing.
02
Product Page
Cover, subtitle, blurb, A+ content, categories and keywords. The page does the selling, so the page gets fixed first.
03
Reader Path
Back matter, series pages, reader magnet and welcome sequence, so a reader who finishes one book knows exactly where to go next.
04
Entry Point
Choose the single book worth putting money behind, and prove it's the right one before you spend properly.
05
First Ad Campaign
A budget that works for you, one ad platform, proper tracking, and the discipline to read the first week rather than react to it.
06
Compound
Scale what works, add the next book, and let every release land on an engine that's already running.
05 / The tool
AuthorOS. Your author business strategist, on call 24 hours a day.
AuthorOS is an AI trained on the same method I teach. Paste in your blurb and it tells you what's missing and how it can be improved. Give it your genre and it drafts primary text and headlines for your Facebook Ads. Show it a week of ad data and it tells you whether to hold, turn off or scale.
It never sleeps, it never gets tired of your questions, and it never tells you to just write the next book. It's the part members mention first, it's included with Author Mastery only, and it isn't sold separately.
Get access
Use it for
Your listing
Blurbs, subtitles, categories, keywords, A+ content, keywords, all optimized for your readers.
Use it for
Your ads
Primary text, headlines, audience thinking, and a second opinion before you spend anything.
Use it for
Your decisions
The hold, turn off or scale call on a campaign, with reasoning rather than a verdict.
Use it for
Your next move
When you've got ten things to do, it tells you which one moves the needle and which can wait.
06 / The coaching
Office hours. Twice a month, live, with me.
This is the part that makes it coaching rather than a course. You bring your cover, your blurb, the campaign that's losing money, the number on the dashboard that makes no sense, and the two of us work through it properly. Not a scripted answer. A conversation about your author business.
The other authors on the call listen in while we do it, which turns out to be the most useful part of the whole thing. You'll fix problems you didn't know you had by watching someone else's get solved, and they'll do the same watching yours.
Can't make it live? Send your question over beforehand and I'll answer it on the call, so it's waiting for you in the replay. Replays go up the same day, so a timezone has never been a reason to miss out.
Twice a month, live
Two calls, every month, in the diary. Increased from one because members asked for it.
A chat, not a lecture
You and me, working on your book, while you and everyone else learns from it.
Submit in advance
If the time doesn't suit you, your question still gets answered and lands in the replay.
Replays same day
Every call is recorded and kept, so the answers build into a library of their own.
07 / The effort
An hour a day. The engine does the rest.
A plane burns most of its fuel getting off the ground. Cruising is easy. The first month here is real work: covers, blurbs, back matter, the unglamorous things you've been avoiding. After that the system carries it and you go back to writing.
Month one / Takeoff
The unglamorous month
You fix the things that have been costing you readers for months, even years. It's the least fun and the highest paid work you'll do all year.
After that / Cruise
The part that lasts
A short daily check, one weekly review, and the rest of the week is yours. This is the whole point.
Guesswork → Data · Fixing → Maintaining · Hoping → Knowing
08 / The curriculum
The whole system, start to finish.
The videos are the reference library, not the product. They teach you the method once, properly, so the calls never get spent on something a ten-minute walkthrough can cover.
The calls are where it gets personal. That's where the method meets your genre, your catalog, your budget and your numbers, and turns from something you've learned into something you're actually doing.
Everything unlocks the day you join.

10 / Fit
Is Author Mastery a good fit for you?
A good fit if
- You've got at least one published book, fiction or non-fiction, and you'd like it to earn more than it currently does.
- You've got a catalog gathering dust: a finished series, a set of standalones, or a shelf of non-fiction titles that should be selling each other.
- You've tried ads before and turned them off because you couldn't tell what was working.
- You'd rather fix the foundations properly than chase the next tactic.
- You can put a small, consistent ad budget behind a book once the foundations are right.
Not a fit if
- You haven't published yet. Come back when you've got a book live.
- You want someone to run your ads for you. This teaches you to run them yourself.
- You want a shortcut that skips the foundations. The order exists for a reason.
- You want a busy community and daily accountability. There isn't one, on purpose.
- You need a guaranteed return by a fixed date. Nobody honest can promise you that.

12 / Who is teaching this
I built the business I wanted, then worked out how to teach it.
I wanted the writing to pay for the life rather than the other way round.
Work that fits around the people I care about. That's the whole reason this method looks the way it does, and it's why there's no community to keep up with and no daily posting plan.
I'm on the calls. Not a coach I trained, not a community manager. Me, twice a month, looking at your author business.
I talk to authors every single week, and I coach authors one-on-one, I've run ads for authors across multiple fiction and non-fiction genres.
Which means I've spent years inside real accounts rather than theorising about them. Catalogs of two books and catalogs of forty. Budgets of five dollars a day and budgets with a few zeros on the end. Campaigns that printed money and campaigns that bled for months.
That spread is the reason I can usually tell you within a few minutes what your next step should be.
Strategic Laziness
Maximum results, minimum input. You can't buy more time.
The Golden Rule
One platform, one book, one country, until it works. After that,
Ads amplify, not fix
Advertising a broken path just buys you a faster failure.
Read-through matters
Lifetime value across a catalog beats any single campaign metric.
13 / Questions
The things people ask.
I write non-fiction. Is this only for novelists?
I only have one book. Is that enough?
I have never run ads. Will I be lost?
How much do I need to spend on ads?
How much time does this take each week?
Is there a community?
What happens when the doors close?
Can I cancel?
Do I get everything straight away, or is it dripped?
Is AuthorOS really included?
Last call
Your books are written. Go and get them read.
You've done the hard part, the part most people never finish. What's left is the part that can be taught, and it doesn't take a different personality, a bigger list or a louder social media presence. It takes an engine, and someone in your corner twice a month while you build it.
